We are hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior E&I Estimation Adviser & Team Mentor to provide strategic estimation support and technical mentorship on a part-time, remote consultancy basis.
This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) professional with extensive GCC industrial project experience who is passionate about sharing expertise, improving estimation accuracy, and developing high-performing teams.
Key Requirements
- 20–30 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) contracting, with a strong background in industrial projects.
- Significant experience delivering projects across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
- Previous experience in senior leadership roles such as Estimation Manager, Tendering Manager, Proposals Manager, Senior E&I Estimation Lead, or Senior E&I Construction Manager with substantial estimation responsibilities.
- Proven experience working with major clients and EPC contractors, including Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, RCJY, ADNOC, or other leading regional organizations.
- In-depth understanding of E&I project execution, labour productivity, cost estimation, material take-offs, equipment, testing and commissioning, shutdowns, maintenance, and brownfield projects.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop remote teams using Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate selected tender submissions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Challenge cost estimates, scope assumptions, and commercial strategies while identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities.
- Support the continuous development of the company’s E&I cost database, productivity benchmarks, and estimation methodologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the Estimation, Quantity Surveying, and Project Coordination teams through regular remote sessions.
- Deliver knowledge-sharing workshops and training to strengthen internal estimation capabilities and best practices.
Location
The consultant may be based in Pakistan, India, Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, the UK, or any other location, provided they possess substantial Saudi/GCC contracting experience and are available to support the team during Saudi business hours.
Engagement
This is a part-time consultancy rather than a full-time operational role, requiring approximately 50–60 hours per month. Support will primarily be delivered remotely through scheduled tender reviews, mentoring sessions, and periodic technical training.
