PartnerX is hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced Cards MIS Specialist to join their Cards Business / Retail Banking function in the United Arab Emirates.
Role Overview
The Cards MIS Specialist will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely and actionable management information across the cards portfolio. The role combines recurring MIS reporting, campaign analytics, portfolio performance analysis, dashboard development and controlled automation.
Reporting to the Cards Portfolio Head, the successful candidate will work closely with Cards Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Risk, Technology and network/partner teams to turn complex data and business questions into meaningful insights. CARDS MIS SPECIALIST_12 months
Key Responsibilities
The Cards MIS Specialist will:
- Produce and maintain daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc cards MIS covering customers, accounts, cards, transactions, spend, merchants, channels and products.
- Build and refresh Power BI dashboards and Excel reporting packs, define KPIs, and explain trends, variances and exceptions.
- Translate campaign rules into accurate customer selections and support campaign fulfilment, cashback validation and pre- and post-campaign performance analysis.
- Analyse portfolio performance across acquisition, activation, usage, loyalty, co-brand, cross-border, e-commerce and merchant segments.
- Query and transform large datasets using SQL on Hive/Hadoop, Python and PySpark.
- Automate repeatable reporting and analytical workflows to improve turnaround time and reduce manual effort.
- Perform reconciliations, sample checks and data-quality controls.
- Document reporting logic, data lineage, assumptions and re-run decisions.
- Work collaboratively with Cards Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Risk, Technology and network/partner teams to translate business requirements into clear insights. CARDS MIS SPECIALIST_12 months
Requirements
The successful candidate should have:
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong Power BI experience, including data modelling, DAX and Power Query.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Practical experience with Python and PySpark.
- Experience working with Hive/Hadoop environments.
- Strong dashboard development and workflow automation capabilities.
- Knowledge of card lifecycle and portfolio KPIs.
- Understanding of authorization and transaction data.
- Knowledge of merchant, MCC and MID concepts.
- Experience with primary and supplementary cards.
- Understanding of loyalty, cashback, co-brand, e-commerce and cross-border campaigns.
- Strong data extraction, cleansing, segmentation, trend and variance analysis skills.
- Experience with campaign test-versus-control measurement and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear business insights. CARDS MIS SPECIALIST_12 months
Controls & Working Style
The role requires strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to data quality, reconciliation, documentation, access and privacy. The successful candidate should be comfortable supporting production environments and maintaining auditability across reporting and analytical processes.

Education & Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a related field is preferred.
Relevant experience within cards, banking or high-volume consumer analytics environments will be advantageous. CARDS MIS SPECIALIST_12 months
