A Strategy Director will be required to be an inspiring multi-dimensional thinker and doer who can challenge, interrogate, and innovate strategic solutions to achieve clients’ ambitions and surpass their expectations. They will be expected to prepare, guide, and oversee thought-provoking, insightful strategies, working across multiple projects and disciplines simultaneously.
Consulting
- Provide direct impact to the company’s function to conceptualize and develop strategic opportunities.
- An outstanding ability to assess and analyze strategic problems, identify insights, and unearth trends to make compelling recommendations and strategic direction for clients.
- Have the passion to create strategies and innovative solutions that are driven by robust rationale and lead to outcome-based solutions.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of research methodologies such as quantitative, qualitative data facilitation and analysis, benchmarking, target segment mapping and desk research market analysis to have the exceptional capability to extract powerful insights and communicate these in highly creative and engaging ways.
- Identify critical issues, trends, and opportunities for a diverse client base.
- Provide highly valuable counsel to clients and have confidence in communicating recommendations whilst also challenging where appropriate and necessary.
- Demonstrate expertise in the facilitation of strategic discussions, client workshops, brainstorms, and development of strategic deliverables and idea generation both internally and with clients.
- Demonstrate the ability to inspire great creative output internally through strategically sound creative ideation and conceptualization.
- Champion the Company’s strategic frameworks and methodologies whilst also having the dynamism and intuition to create bespoke approaches to clients’ challenges where relevant.
- Drive to share knowledge and learnings within the firm, continuously focusing efforts on developing and elevating the skills and capabilities of the firm.
- Display thought leadership capabilities both internally and externally.
People
- Collaborate efficiently and effectively with the Project Management and Creative teams, encouraging and influencing positive relationship building with internal stakeholders.
- Act as an inspiring leader to team members, demonstrating a passion for mentorship and guidance.
Commercial
- Provide creative and strategic recommendations to growth plans for clients and identify new opportunities for Company to make impact to clients.
- Help clients develop their knowledge of Company’s offerings, capabilities, and network.
- Make viable and compelling recommendations on strategic responses to new client RFPs and play an active role in pitching and conversion.
