The flagship 12-week program includes education and coaching to empower patients to make sustainable changes within their lifestyle, physical activity and mindset. The focus and emphasis is based on self-management and health literacy so patients can manage their own diabetes journey with the tools and resources provided to them through the program. The approach is based around internationally recognized standards in diabetes education and the Motivational Interviewing (MI) framework.
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Partner to lead and manage the growth initiatives, strategic collaborations and operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business expansion through client acquisition, corporate partnerships, and community engagement to advance diabetes education and lifestyle modification programs across the UAE and beyond.
This role combines operational leadership with entrepreneurial vision — ensuring that all activities align with our client’s mission to empower individuals living with diabetes or prediabetes through education, coaching, and sustainable lifestyle change.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Operational Management:
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational processes that support scalability, compliance, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the founder and multidisciplinary team to execute business strategy and achieve growth milestones.
Business Growth & Client Attraction:
- Design and execute marketing and outreach strategies to attract individual clients for 1:1 and group diabetes education programs.
- Identify and develop corporate wellness partnerships for employee health programs focusing on diabetes prevention and management.
- Build strategic relationships with healthcare providers, clinics, insurers, and corporate HR departments to increase referral flow.
Partnership Development:
- Secure and manage partnerships with healthcare professionals, organizations, and community entities aligned with our client’s mission.
- Represent our client in business meetings, conferences, and community events to enhance brand visibility and trust.
- Develop proposals, presentations, and service agreements for institutional collaborations and sponsorships.
Financial & Performance Oversight:
- Support budgeting, financial forecasting, and revenue growth strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to enrollment, engagement, and client retention.
- Report regularly on business outcomes and suggest data-driven improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, operations, or strategic management — preferably in healthcare and wellness.
- Proven track record in building partnerships, scaling service-based businesses, and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of patient engagement, digital health, or corporate wellness programs is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-evolving healthcare environment.
