Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Acquiring & Payment Gateway IT Specialist to manage and support acquiring systems, merchant platforms, and data host migration initiatives. This role requires a strong technical understanding of payment systems, merchant onboarding, and gateway integrations, along with the ability to lead complex technical projects and coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and provide technical support for acquiring systems and payment gateway operations
- Lead data host migration projects end-to-end, including planning, execution, testing, and validation
- Support merchant onboarding, system integrations, and day-to-day operational issues
- Coordinate with banks, processors, payment service providers (PSPs), and technology vendors on system enhancements and upgrades
- Oversee system testing activities, including SIT and UAT, as well as deployments and post-implementation support
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and card scheme standards
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and operational procedures
Skills & Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with acquiring systems, payment gateways, and merchant platforms
- Proven expertise in data migration and system transition projects
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are preferred
