About the Role
We are looking for Retail Credit Card Sales Assistants to support a major retail sales project across shopping malls in Dubai.
The successful candidates will be based inside retail stores and work closely with the stores’ sales teams to engage with customers, explain the benefits and features of specific credit card products, and support customers throughout the application process.
Full product and process training will be provided, along with all necessary sales and marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers visiting retail stores and introduce relevant credit card products.
- Clearly explain credit card features, benefits, eligibility criteria and the application process.
- Support customers with the digital credit card application process using tablets and mobile applications.
- Work closely with the retail store’s sales team to identify and engage potential customers.
- Generate and follow up on customer leads and prospects.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and applications.
- Prepare a daily call sheet in Excel, including:
- Prospect name
- Mobile number
- Customer status/action taken
- Follow-up/action plan
- Achieve agreed daily and monthly sales/activity targets.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
- Follow all company procedures and compliance requirements relating to credit card sales.
Requirements
- Excellent English communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Previous credit card or financial product sales experience is preferred, particularly experience working in:
- Shopping malls
- Sales booths/kiosks
- Business centres
- Retail environments
- Candidates without financial services experience may also be considered if they have proven consumer-facing sales experience, such as:
- Telecom
- Internet/broadband
- Car leasing
- Consumer electronics
- Retail products
- Other B2C sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable approaching and speaking with customers in a busy retail environment.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with retail store sales staff.
- Physically comfortable standing for extended periods throughout a 10-hour shift.
- Basic to good digital skills and confidence using tablets, mobile applications and Excel.
- Professional appearance and customer-service mindset.
- Reliable, energetic and target-oriented.
Visa & Work Eligibility
Candidates must already have their own valid UAE visa and be legally eligible to work in the UAE.
Acceptable visa arrangements may include:
- Student visa
- Spouse visa
- Dependent/family visa
- Other valid UAE residency visa with the required NOC and full eligibility to work in the UAE
Candidates requiring employment visa sponsorship will not be eligible for this project.
