Our client is growing, and PartnerX is proud to be supporting them in their search for an experienced Estimator / Business Development Manager to join their team.
The Role
This is a dual-focused position combining commercial estimating with proactive business development. You’ll play a key role in identifying new opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and producing accurate, competitive estimates across DSG’s modular construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction and modular building sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and industry contacts
- Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates and tenders for modular building projects
- Support the sales cycle from initial enquiry through to contract award
- Liaise closely with the design, technical and delivery teams to ensure estimates reflect project requirements
- Represent the business professionally in client meetings and site visits across the North East and beyond
About You
- Proven experience in an estimating and/or business development role
- Background within construction, manufacturing, or a related technical/commercial sector
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to produce accurate, competitive estimates
- Confident, client-facing communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable balancing office-based estimating work with client-facing business development
